The Cabot Trail

On our last full day day we decided to drive west from St.John to the Cabot Trail. I'm glad we left it as our last destination because it was certainly the most beautiful. The rolling green hills, the dense evergreens and expansive sea made the 6 hour drive totally worthwhile. Along the way we explored an abandoned house that lay eerily pristine with made up beds and all the porcelain dishes still stacked in the cupboards. We almost got knocked over from torrential winds on the beaches and pulled over at the side of the road to look at a perfectly clear rainbow. It was a pretty wonderful and memorable day, to say the least.
