I can't seem to stop sewing toys. I'm a little obsessed at the moment. This past weekend I celebrated two birthdays: My friend Jane's and my sister Brooke's. I wanted to hand-make both of their gifts and decided to sew a wee horse for Jane and a "sister bear" for my sister. I went to The Workroom, picked out some lovely fabric and got to work. Both pieces were sewn by hand and stuffed with cotton balls. I felt so connected to Horse and Sister Bear while I was making them and especially after they were completed. It wasn't hard to give them away however because I knew they were going to loving homes.
