Sew, a needle pulling thread

One of my Christmas presents from Bryan was an introductory sewing class at The Workroom which is one my favourite spaces in Toronto. Before the course I felt semi-confident on a sewing machine and definitely needed a refresher. The course was three hours and so immensely informative and thorough. I left feeling that I could not only sew a straight line but create pretty much anything I wanted to. The staff also make you feel at home and invite you to use their kitchenette and help yourself to cookies while you're there. While I was there I bought some pretty fabric from their amazing selection- I can't wait to get to work!
